Minorca enjoys lovely Mediterranean weather conditions with mild pleasant winters and hot balmy  summers with a wonderful change of seasons.   Minorca is a unspoilt island with green rolling fields and lush vegetation.  There are hundreds of lovely coves and many stretches of lovely golden beach.  Much of the island is unspoilt by tourism.

During July and August there are over 10 hours of warm sunshine each day with average temperatures regularly approaching 30C.  During a heat wave temperatures can be well in excess of this! The hot and sunny summer months are the peak of the holiday season in Minorca.

In November, December and January Minorca is very quiet and although the island is still very attractive at this time of the year it attracts very few tourists and tour operators run virtually no flights. In winter there are fine and mild conditions on many days with average maximum temperatures around 13C.

Minorca rainfall is usually lowest in July and highest in October, November and December.

The weather in the southern resorts of Minorca tend to offer slightly more consistent weather than the nothern resorts.  In the summer it's fair to say that the weather throughout Minorca is fabulous!
