In Fuerteventura during the summer months the weather  is usually warm and sunny, with warm sea breezes and low humidity. The warmest months of the year tend to be July, August and September with daytime highs of 29°C / 84°F. During this period night-time temperatures can drop to 20°C / 68°F. August averages around eleven hours of sunshine a day with very low rainfall.

Autumn is a very pleasant time to travel to Fuerteventura with warm sunny days and cooler evenings.  Daytime maximum temperatures in October can reach 27°C / 81°F with around seven hours of sunshine a day.

The climate of Fuerteventura remains very mild during the winter months in with generally around six to seven hours of sunshine a day.  January and February tend to be the coolest months of the year with daytime temperatures reaching 21°C / 70°F. Temperatures can drop to 13°C / 55°F during the evening and night. Winter in Fuerteventura also sees some rainfall, although the average annual winter rainfall in Fuerteventura is only 10 cm / 4 inches.
